Regulations for Anchoring and Navigation in the Maro-Cerro Gordo Cliffs Natural Area:
Anchoring is prohibited outside of designated anchorage areas at all times.
Vessels not involved in scuba diving activities are not permitted to moor to the buoys designated for these activities.
Recreational boating is only permitted more than 200 meters from the beach and more than 50 meters from the rest of the coastline.
Navigation within the Reserve Area is prohibited. Access from the sea to beaches, cliffs, and coves with motorboats is also prohibited.
Respect cetaceans and do not pursue them. If a dolphin or group of dolphins approaches your vessel, continue sailing while maintaining your speed and course.
Remember that recreational sea fishing is also prohibited in this protected area.
